When my son was 3 years old we had invited my father to come to Thanksgiving dinner. At the last minute he was asked to go to a country club. Connor and I had seen a few people in our area walking the streets with no place to go. I decided that I would teach Connor how to pay it forward. We cooked the thanksgiving dinner and put together 10 red solo plates covered with tin foil. We headed out to find 10 people. The smile on the faces of the people touched us so much that we decided to share our story. We posted the photos on facebook and we had friends respond who wanted to help so the next year we fed 50 people. The following year we did the same and we fed 100 people. Last year we fed 200 people and put together bags filled with everything someone living on the streets might need. Socks, tooth brushes, tooth paste, etc. Our goal is to grow every year!
